Matilda Jane Joy!

I had my Matilda Jane Party this weekend, gosh it was fun! A LOT of work but fun! I seriously want so many things for my girls but...there's always that blasted BUDGET thing! :-) CUTE stuff and I did order some pre party so you might get a sneak peek here soon enough anyway. I hung a clothes line, well the DELIGHTFUL husband did actually and we had to move some furniture around to accomadate BUT it sure was cute! I made all kinds of yummy goodies too. MY GAWD, I totally think I'm SO hooked on (well not really but if I were to get hooked it could be on these) pomagranate martinis...DELISH! There was Paula Deans coconut cake...um just die and go to coconut heaven why don'tcha! Brownie caramel cheesecake (brownie crust and wurthers caramels YES a match made in heaven). Rich butter bars, and Peyton's hands down FAVORITE rasberry white chocolate mousse! She popped those little chocolate shot glasses full of moussie goodness in her mouth like POPCORN! THEN plopped more on her plate from the bowl of mousse. Oh yeah, pound cake too with browned butter glaze. If you want a recipe, send me a note!

PLEASE check out WHIMAGES.COM in the next few days...I'll be posting all kinds of new cuties!

The only thing positive about this cold weather again is Peyton's little cord jacket I'm in love with. I'm sure it's not going to fit next year! I bribed her with going to Limited too to get some pics...here's one of my favorites!

Cotton candy b-day!

I'm sure by now you are sick of hearing about C and C's b-day but these pics are cute I think for snapshots. AND I have to tell you me and the kids have THE biggest sweet tooth on the face of the earth so we basically had a couple sugar filled parties! If you ever want to get the kids at a b-day really REALLY sugared up before you send them home, you just have to rent a cotton candy machine! I love in the one b-day cake pic how happy they look and how they are each looking the opposite way! That's a fresh strawberry cake with fresh strawberry buttercream...ummm yum! The other cake is a Paula Deen coconut cake with coconut filling and 7-minute frosting (my FAV!) DELISH!

Double trouble double fun!

Today is the big day...Callie and Cole are now twelve. Why does twelve seem so much older than 11? Yesterday we had THE BEST DAY. They were so sick that they couldn't go to school (cough coughshoppingmentalhealthday cough). We went to York PA and the kids shopped their little butts off and spent their birthday money wisely if I do say so myself. FUN DAY!

While at the mall, the kids and I went into one of those everything Dog stores and bought some CUTE dog biscuits shaped like french fries...they wanted the VERY realistic burger combo meal but I couldn't spend 7 dollars on a dog biscuit/burger combo meal. Yeah, so I'm weird like that! BUT look how cute these fries are! If you look closely, you can see Macy doing her boxer woo woo song in the background with her black liver lips. Man my dogs are cute! :-)

Here fishy fishy and HEY, let's go to Disney World!

These are the Koi in our little garden pond. I'm in love with the one with the white lips...he cracks me up! In a few more weeks, they'll be so tame that they'll suck on your finger when you put it in the water. Over the winter they get shy but as it warms up and we spend more time out by the pond, they get more and more friendly. Even now, as soon as we open the patio door, they'll swim over to the side looking for a handout of fish food! We must have a VERY romantic pond because all of our fish produce babies like a bundle of bunnies. We are constantly giving them away...except for my favorites of course.

Speaking of offspring...my bigger two will be turning 12 tomorrow! WOW! Twelve years ago today, I had a sonogram appointment to check them and their weight. While I was there I asked a nurse to check my BP because I was supposed to have it checked at home every other day and I had forgotten. Little did I know, that when she checked it, it was sky high. She sent me home to rest (duh, I was already on bed rest but was supposed to come off the next day). She apparently called my doctor and by the time I got home I had 3 messages on my machine to get back to the hospital immediately! So I went back and was induced due to pre-eclampsia. First came Ms. Callie at 6lbs 6oz and 7 minutes later Mr. Cole at 6 lbs. 1 oz. Not too shabby for 4 weeks early huh? Once Cole started eating, he grew and grew and now he's almost 12, wears a mens size 10 shoe and is almost 5 ft 5 inches! That kid can EAT! Which brings me in a round about way to Disney. (MAN am I GOOD with the segways!)

We love love LOVE Disney and can't wait to go back. Luckily, my friend Lisa is a Disney specialist travel agent. Well, low and behold Disney is having a FREE MEAL PLAN package in September (and the last week of August). That means you go to Disney and EAT THERE FOR FREE, BREAKFAST, SNACK AND DINNER. AT NICE PLACES...sit down meals too and character meals as well! So I said SIGN US UP! Because I KNOW Cole will get our monies worth fo shoo! She can book anyone anywhere so even my reader in Japan (waving HEY to whoever you are in Japan) can use Lisa! Her email is lro113@comcast.net . Tell her Robyn sent you! :-)

Happy Mothers DAY!

Tomorrow is Mom's day so I hope your day is GREAT! You know, breakfast in bed, foot message etc. and so on! LOL Just like every other day, right!?

I thought it would be fun to share some little cuties from a couple recent shoots. I just want to say how much I LOVE this job. HOW could you not!? The kids are cute and funny and sweet! I love capturing these giggles like on this first shot and the little cuddles between a big brother and a little brother when they think I'm not watching. This is the BEST!

I LOVE the grass in the spring...it's VIBRANT like a crayon! YUMMY color!

Lucky girls!

These sweet sisters are a couple of lucky girls! They are growing up surrounded by family on a wonderful patch of farmland full of rolling hills, tall grass, buttercups and love! Such a fun shoot and so many GREAT spots to snap some shots of these cuties!

And speaking of farmland, I have another Peytonism for you. Regular blog readers will know that I periodically share crazy/goofy/off the wall comments that my youngest daughter, Peyton makes. We have a local dairy that uses the milk from their own cows to make DELICIOUS creamy homemade icecream. On Saturday we went there to get a few cones and drop off a photo of a barn I had taken on the property (You may have seen it on here last week). As we were leaving, we passed a herd of dairy cows. I see Peyton looking at them and then she asks, "Mom, what's the recipe for MILK?"

Casey and Bo!

One of my shoots yesterday included these super cute and sweet doggies! Miss Casey couldn't have been any more sweet and gorgeous with lovely velvety black fur. She is a delight! Mr. Bo here...well you KNOW I'm a freak about any boxer and I swear if they weren't watching I coulda popped him in the Jeep and brought him home! Just kidding, I know it would make them sad and they were just the BEST family! But really, he was a complete goofball...just like I them them! When I get permission, I'll post the cute little girls pics too!

<-------Don't you just want to squeeeeze that squished in muzzle!
