FLEA MARKETING with my DAD!

Last week my father told me about a nearby flea market and I assumed it was a bunch of new stuff from vendors because we don't seem to have the super cool flea markets that everyone else seems to have.  Well...AU CONTRAIR MON AMIE!  This morning he called me to tell me he was bored and wanted to know if I wanted to go there with him. I wasn't expecting much but as I said... THERE was certainly some SUPER COOL STUFF!  I'll let my photos speak for themselves.  BUT I will tell you I did get that white outdoor faucet/sink.  I thought it would be awesome on the PERGOLA with a planter in it, then when we have a party I can fill it with ice and put juice boxes in it (WINK!)  My father INSISTED that it was an old urinal.  I knew better of course!  THEN I sent Cole out to the Jeep to get it and he and his friend came in with it and asked why I bought a URINAL?!  Matt looked at it and said, "Yep, it's a urinal!"  It's NOT. IT. IS. NOT. A. URINAL.  PLUS I got a great deal on it...look at this VINTAGE OUTDOOR FAUCET/SINK  My father pitched in and I got it for my EARLY birthday for $70.00  So tell me does it look like a urinal? Since I do NOT make it a habit to hang out in the mens room, I'm really not sure.
That's my Dad checking the price of that console.  It was HUGE, the photo doesn't do it justice! He LOVED it!
Here's some other posts about my father...I LOVE HIM!  One of my favorites 3 1 2 4 5

Glad you had such a fun time with your Dad! What an awesome flea market. I can tell your purchase is not a urinal, but the shape is similar. I wouldn't worry about it. You love it and that is all that matters. Love & blessings from NC!

What an amazing Flea Market we have nothing that fantastic up here! I think it looks like a sink but I asked my husband and he says urinal too! Women won't notice and men don't really notice decorations it's win win!! Great find! I love it!

LOL, everyone and thank you! ...I'm thinking I need to find an old faucet top to put in the hole at the top so it's less "urinalish"!

How fun for you to go spend time with your dad doing what you love to do! What a memory! I wish we had more flea markets out here in Utah!

I do not think it's a urinal, in fact I think it is a fountain, as shown in the site you've linked.
I visited often many markets like this, there is always something to buy, it's impossible to come back home without a strange old object!
How sweet your dad, must have been a good day for sure!
See you soon, kisses.

Hey lovely lady! I actually love your urinal/fountain/sink!! I'll be honest, I thought it looked like a fountain..that's what I would have said, but TJ says urinal too! LOL Although he did like the shape and thought it had a nice look to it. I think you should put a faucett on the top and put a recirulating pump in the bottom that runs into said faucett, and turn it into a fountain!! I actually LOVE it! That looks like a great old flea market. My daddy loves going through the old flea markets too..I've gone with him and found some neat stuff. I think it makes what we get mean more when we find it when we're with them. :)
I sure enjoyed talking to you today, you brightened my day with the call! :) Can't wait to see what you're going to do with your new found "piece". :)
Love ya
Missy!!!

I think my Cottage Charms's idea is excellent.

I have seen many bedpan planters so why can't a urinal be a fountian..if it is a urinal?

Flea Markets with my Dad are what determined my life long interest in all things old...and I'm grateful.

Suzan

thanks for stopping by to see me :0

Whoa, that flea market looked like it was incredible. I definitely don't think it's a urinal. You're going to do some great stuff with that fountain. Nice find!!
