Corned Beef and a Transfusion or two

Hello there, its Brandy(Robyn's sister) and I have just a tiny little update for you all. Robyn is still in a lot of pain but is managing to stay positive. I guess it had helped that our father has brought his infamous Corned Beef delivery. For those of you who are not aware, Dad brings this awesome Deli delight with all the fixins when ever one of us is sick or hospitalized. Its the one thing we look forward to when we are not well!
Robyn did have to have one blood transfusion during surgery yesterday due to a lot of blood loss. Another transfusion is on the horizon because she has low blood pressure. I don't know what to say except to please keep my wonderful sister in all of your thoughts and prayers. She is truly an amazing person and deserves for all of this to be over a quickly as possible.  I'll let you all know if I hear anything else.  God Bless and happiness,    Brandy

Brandy,
I am so grateful for this update...I have been waiting on pins and needles to see how she's doing. Please let her know that I prayed for her ALL day yesterday and many many times today. We also had prayer for her in our choir meeting last night.
She is such a sweet lady and I've come to just adore her over the last few months since we met.
PLEASE tell her I'm thinking of her and also that I got the box she sent me and I LOVE everything! :) OH, also let her know I have the blog for Saturday all ready to go. :)
Blessings
Melissa

I just came across this blog tonight and have enjoyed reading Robyn's entries - I am so sorry to hear that she has been faced with such a serious and life altering challenge but speaks of it all with such grace - an example many would do well to follow (myself included!) My thoughts are with her for a speedy recovery!

Hi Brandy, thanks for updating us on how Robyn is doing. Please give her my love and I am sending all the hugs I can (very gentle ones of course!). What a wonderful family she has to take such good care of her, your Dad's corned beef sounds wonderful. I hope that Robyn recovers as quickly as is possible. Thinking of her ~ Tina xx
